Hi, my name is Amy Crell. I am excited to be joining YMI as the Event Planner for our annual fundraising breakfast. I am honored to be involved with such a worthwhile and meaningful cause! This year In addition to a delicious breakfast menu, we will be featuring stories from some of our own mentees. They will be sharing how mentoring has impacted their lives and how mentoring in our schools creates a better environment for our students. We hope it will be a special and meaningful event for all who attend!
A little about me: I graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in Legal Administration. After graduating I was employed for 7 years as an office manager for an Insurance Defense law firm in downtown Indianapolis. Once my husband, Steve, and I started our family, I chose to stay home and focus my talents on raising our children and volunteering in our community. My volunteer experiences have ranged from heading up our neighborhood (Windermere) social events, president of the Windermere Swim Team, Chairing several committees for the SSC and HSE Swim Teams, chairing multiple committees for the PTO in various HSE schools and managing the Gallery of Judaica web site at our synagogue, Beth El Zedeck. However, it has been my pleasure for the past 5 years at HSE, and 2 years at RSJH, to chair the Staff Appreciation committees. Chairing Staff Appreciation has been a fun and rewarding experience. I believe the planning of monthly appreciation events including large breakfast and luncheon events will be a great asset towards my new positon as Event Planner with YMI.
I look forward to working with the YMI team and helping to grow a Mentoring Community in Fishers!
